Fellow Wood Badgers: Just to make sure we're ready to WOW the Staff with a great campfire on Saturday night, May 5th (Day #4 at Camp Greenough), we of the Fox Patrol, tasked to plan the campfire program, want to make sure everyone has their activity planned and ready to go. If you wish to bring props, we'll only be walking a few hundred yards to our "remote" camp sites. The theme of the Campfire program is Cinco de Mayo ("The Fifth of May" in Spanish) is a national holiday in Mexico which is also widely celebrated in the United States. It commemorates the victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignazio Zaragosa over the French occupational forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Please let me know the name of the song, skit, or cheer you will perform. The SPL was specific at our PLC meeting that he wanted to know exactly what will be presented, so that there would be no gray areas like Toilet Paper, Underwear, or getting someone wet.
