Bottle and Can Drive
UPDATE:
Mrs. Lee will still be accepting bottles and cans for
Massachusetts. Everyone should look at all their bottles
before recycling or saving. If it has a MA 5 cent mark
we can return it in Massachusetts. This includes: soda,
beer, wine, sparkling water, "Clear American"
water, Perrier and some Energy drinks. Look at wine
bottles before adding them to the bags; some do not
have a return label some do. Any wine bottles with a
15 cent Maine return on them I will still return in
Maine. Those do not have bar code labels and are worth
more in Maine than here so why not?
Mrs. Lee is collecting all returnable bottles and cans.
They need to be separated between Mass returnables and
Maine only returnables. Please make sure labels are
on them and they have the 5 cent return on them. Please
count them and label the bags with the scout's name,
Mass or Maine, and total count for each bag. The money
each scout earns with the returnables will go into their
scout accounts.
